Amanda is a passionate, diligent instructional designer with 10+ years of instructional design experience who works collaboratively with subject matter experts and faculty to design and develop high-quality, engaging and interactive online courses. Amanda has a strong project management background from her previous positions and she has been the point person for the use of YouSeeU/Bongo at World Campus. Amanda is actively involved in the Quality Matters Committee and the Digital Media and Technology Committee as well. Prior to joining the design team in the College of the Liberal Arts Filippelli Institute e-Education and Outreach unit, she worked in the World Campus Learning Design unit for nine and half years. And prior to joining Penn State, she was an information technology project manager and assist trainer for a local financial institution. When Amanda is not busy at work, she can often be found outside running, hiking, hunting, gardening, or taking pictures. She love spending time with her family and friends usually doing one of the activities listed.
