Give us a brief summary of your experience?

Throughout my time as a Special Prosecutions intern, I regularly attended trials and hearings to document case details with fellow interns and reported findings to assistant district attorneys. I collaborated daily with other interns to locate, catalog, and organize files for various court hearings. I also participated in an intern run in mock trial experiences for special prosecutions cases such as child endangerment, domestic violence and sexual crimes.

How has the College of the Liberal Arts helped you to find and/or succeed in this experience (e.g., adviser, faculty, staff, enrichment funds, etc.)?

The College of Liberal Arts has helped me succeed in this experience by providing financial support via enrichment funding, which I have been able to use to supplement my time in various ways. For example, I have utilized this funding to purchase train tickets, as I commuted via public transit to this internship, as well purchasing appropriate work attire, and supplementing the costs of living during this unpaid internship.
