Give us a brief summary of your experience?

I worked as a sophomore summer analyst in the Equity Capital Markets division at Bank of America. Throughout my internship, I rotated through two groups: the Strategic Equity Solution Group and Financial Institutions Group.

How did this experience impact you academically?

This role was very market-facing, and I was able to apply several concepts from economics classes I have taken (specifically macroeconomics), like monetary policy, because I had to understand the impact of those ideas in my work.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

This experience has served as a confirmation for me in terms of my career goals. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Bank of America, and I know that I want to continue working in the financial services industry and on Wall Street.

How has the College of the Liberal Arts helped you to find and/or succeed in this experience (e.g., adviser, faculty, staff, enrichment funds, etc.)?

The College of the Liberal Arts provided me with enrichment funds for this summer and extremely helpful advisers who have guided me in my class selection to focus on my interests.
