Give us a brief summary of your experience?

I spent a Maymester in London and Edinburgh studying theater. This included seeing plays in a variety of theatres both in and around the London area as well as in Edinburgh then discussing them in an open class discussion. 

How did this experience impact you academically?

This experience helped me form well-rounded opinions of the world in a global scale. It also helped me gain more appreciation for the production and writing that goes into producing a play.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

I was able to gain a more global perspective on how writing and literary works are represented in the arts. This helped me with my career goals because I hope to go into publishing in the future.

How has the College of the Liberal Arts helped you to find and/or succeed in this experience (e.g., adviser, faculty, staff, enrichment funds, etc.)?

Enrichment funding, as well as the support from the College of the Liberal Arts community, helped me succeed in this experience because without programs like this I would not have been able to gain as much from this trip as I did.
