Give us a brief summary of your experience?

As a digital marketing & communications intern at Invent Penn State, I helped to support key entrepreneurship programs and events affiliated with the Invent Penn State initiative. I offer segmentation support for email marketing campaigns, copywrite and audit website content, collaborate with events and marketing specialists on digital marketing asset creation and dissemination, and complete research to establish a marketing strategy to help reach business goals.

How did this experience impact you academically?

The position has given me the opportunity to take everything I have learned in marketing and execute it in a real work setting. It has prepared me for my future career.

The College of Liberal Arts has helped me succeed in this experience through the course LA 495. This course has prepared me on what to expect and how to get the most out of this experience. It has also allowed me to reflect on my experiences and learn from them through discussion posts and evaluations.
