Give us a brief summary of your experience?

This experience as an intern with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts allowed me to gain valuable experience and learn more about my future career path. During this internship, I gained experience in working with employees of a company as well as helping to facilitate these operations within the company. I also gained valuable skills throughout this internship, such as responding to employee inquiries about work-related issues and company policies, managing phone calls and emails, handling scheduling adjustments and attendance records, and so much more!

How did this experience impact you academically?

This experience has impacted me academically because it has allowed me to put into practice concepts related to my academic field of study. This has helped me to relate my work experience to the concepts that I am learning in class, which has helped me to deepen my level of understanding about my academic studies. Gaining this experience has taught me even more about this field of study which has allowed me to have an even stronger understanding of the field. I will continue to relate the knowledge that I have gained from my internship experience to my academic courses.

This experience will impact my career goals because it has taught me so much about different topics within this field and about the operations of a company. As a result of this experience, I now feel even more prepared to pursue a career in this field. Furthermore, I feel much more knowledgeable about this career field and equipped to apply this knowledge to my future career.

How has the College of the Liberal Arts helped you to find and/or succeed in this experience (e.g., adviser, faculty, staff, enrichment funds, etc.)?

The College of the Liberal Arts has helped me to succeed in this experience by informing me of the opportunities available to students within this College. This has helped to enhance my experience and gain valuable knowledge that I will use throughout my career. I am very grateful for this opportunity and for all that I learned throughout my experience.
