What was the best part of your experience?
The best part of my experience was seeing my research and recommendations result in action. I spent a portion of my summer internship researching and creating a marketing plan based on Instagram Stories, and the Foundation actually ended up implementing it! It was great to see my time and effort lead to something that will hopefully make a difference in the search for a cure for Parkinson's disease.

How did this experience impact you academically?
This experience helped me to further develop my writing skills. I've never had to write in a highly professional style before, and I'm glad that my internship forced me to practice this. I'm even more confident in my writing ability now, and I'm excited to apply these new skills to different papers and projects this academic year.
How will this experience impact your career goals?
I'm now very confident that I want to go into non-profit marketing and that I have an experience that will help me when applying and interviewing for full-time jobs. Additionally, this internship helped to guide me to another internship I'm doing with Penn State Athletics this semester, which will provide me with even more experience and skills.
