What was the best part of your experience?

The best part of this experience has been being involved in various Pro Bono Programs. These programs have given me the opportunity to see first-hand how collaborations between various organizations and non-profits can positively impact a community. The work the firm has done with different Philadelphia non-profit organizations is truly special, and it is very encouraging to see attorneys and people in the legal field give back to society and aid others in their community.

"[This internship] has given me a great deal of insight in the field of law and how my current studies will impact the way I will hopefully approach work as an attorney in the future."

How did this experience impact you academically?

This experience has taught me countless lessons already. It has given me a great deal of insight in the field of law and how my current studies will impact the way I will hopefully approach work as an attorney in the future. Furthermore, it has given me a sense of direction in regards to how I will continue my education beyond my undergraduate years.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

This experience has shown me what a career in the law looks like on a day-to-day basis. It has given me a deeper understanding of how the career path of an attorney can be shaped. Furthermore, I have had the chance to speak with people in the field and hear their perspectives on the process of pursuing an education in law. In this internship, I have had the chance to see what all types of work in different areas of the law look like. From business, to financial, to non-profit work, I have had exposure to all the different manifestations of a legal career.
