What was the best part of your experience?

Beyond getting to see the biggest shows of the summer from the best locations, the best part of the experience thus far has been the countless people within the industry who I have met. I have made connections with professionals from a variety of departments, so I have been able to widen my horizon in terms of opportunities out there while also building relationships and connections within the company itself.

How did this experience impact you academically?

This internship has added to the skills I have already learned through my academic courses. I have learned a lot about business and the economy in my classes at Penn State, but nothing can really prepare you or teach you quite like having hands-on experiences and interactions in the field. As opposed to simply replacing what I know, I feel as though I have become a better student drawing from both my academics and the skills I have learned on site."I have made connections with professionals from a variety of departments, so I have been able to widen my horizon in terms of opportunities out there while also building relationships and connections within the company itself."

How will this experience impact your career goals?

Through the experience I expect I will have a better idea of what I would like to do in my career. This is mainly due to the networking opportunities I have had, as well as all I have learned in the internship. I now have a clear idea of the departments in which I am interested, along with a deeper understanding of how they function and how I could make an impact in them.
