What was the best part of your experience?
The best part of working as a research assistant in Dr. Levy's lab is working with research participants. I conduct clinical interviews in the lab and then evaluate the data and information collected in these interviews.

How did this experience impact you academically?
This experience has enhanced my interpersonal communication skills and data processing skills. The organization and professionalism I must display in lab help me to be a better student. I work as a lab manager and help other students to complete various projects in the lab. I believe this leadership role positively affects my schoolwork as well.
How will this experience impact your career goals?
In the future, I hope to pursue a career as a psychiatrist. Working with clinical populations and research participants now will help me to stand out as a medical school applicant.
How has the Paterno Fellows Program had an impact on this experience?
Paterno Fellows requires a senior thesis. I knew I wanted to do research in the area of psychology. This is the reason I joined Dr. Levy's lab, and I am really excited to write my thesis.
