What was the best part of your experience?

The best part of studying abroad was experiencing the new culture. Spain is a lot different than America, and it was very interesting and exciting to explore Barcelona. I enjoyed meeting new people and trying new things/new foods.

This experience made me realize that you can learn a lot more outside of a classroom and that lectures are not the only way to learn new things.

How did this experience impact you academically?

This experience allowed me to see things from multiple perspectives. Studying abroad has changed the way that I think about things, which has affected my critical thinking skills. This experience made me realize that you can learn a lot more outside of a classroom and that lectures are not the only way to learn new things.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

My career goals involve working with other people and understanding the needs/mental processes of other people. Being in a new country has allowed me to meet a ton of different kinds of people which allowed me to practice understanding other people's perspectives and thoughts. This experience has also caused my career goals to shift and has caused me to want to travel the world more instead of staying in America.
