What was the best part of your experience?

The best part of the experience was getting to walk around the city with the new friends I was able to meet and learn about the country firsthand. We had a tour of the city which I think was the most impactful part of the experience because this man had seen Amsterdam at its worst and was able to give us insight on how it was transformed into the amazing city it is today.

This experience impacted me academically because I was able to ask questions to our speakers that our professors may not have had the answers to

How did this experience impact you academically?

This experience impacted me academically because I was able to ask questions to our speakers that our professors may not have had the answers to. I was able to compare legal systems and understand ours a little better.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

This experience will impact my career goals because I was planning on going into law at some point in my life, and seeing how different the two legal systems are has opened my eyes to how people are treated and processed through the legal system. We were able to sit down with a popular lawyer in Amsterdam, and he answered all of the questions I was going back and forth in my mind about considering my future.
