Up one level
Noah Oesterling

Liberal Arts Major(s): Criminology
Minor: Photography
Hometown: State College, Pennsylvania

What was the best part of your experience?

The people. I got to meet many new people including classmates and locals. Everyone was so unique and had a lot to share and contribute to the learning experience.

How did this experience impact you academically?

Learning abroad is a good character builder and really helps strengthen your communication skills. Interacting with and meeting the locals on the island helped contribute to my understanding of the course material and race relationships.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

This experience will be nice to include on a resume, and it also helped improve my understanding of different race-related relationships and understandings which is extremely important in the field of criminology. I am looking into joining a law enforcement agency after I complete college, so this experience and knowledge will be very helpful when communicating and interacting with other people.
