What was the best part of your experience?

The best part of my experience was being in London. I say this because of the diversity, amazing people, culture, food, accessibility, and many aspects it had to offer. There was always something exciting happening and to go out and explore was a great experience. The city was very easy to navigate -- I relished that fact wholeheartedly. Being from NYC, a very huge city, it's easy to get lost and feel overwhelmed. In London, it was the complete opposite; I felt like I lived there my entire life.

It was challenging to learn about three new subjects of which I had no previous knowledge...these courses prompted me to work harder and push myself to the best of my ability.

How did this experience impact you academically?

This experience impacted me academically because the three classes I chose (Media Insight & Intelligence for PR and Advertising, The Art of Cinema, and Photographing the City: London) took me out of my comfort zone. It was challenging to learn about three new subjects of which I had no previous knowledge. Without previous knowledge, these courses prompted me to work harder and push myself to the best of my ability. It was a different experience, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

This experience will impact my career goals because it will let future employers know that I have global experience and that I don't mind traveling around the world. I enjoy learning and experiencing new cultures because it allows me to always have an open mind.
