What was the best part of your experience?

The best part of this experience was the culture and the friends I made from all over the world. Florence, Italy is dripping in Renaissance Art and history and to have the opportunity to take art classes there is indescribable. My roommates were from California, New York, and India, and it felt like I had known them forever.

To take art classes within such an amazing culture and to walk on streets that art and political legends have walked on taught me more than I could have ever imagined.

How did this experience impact you academically?

SACI allowed me to complete my art minor while looking at incredible works of art by Michelangelo and architecture by Brunelleschi. To take art classes within such an amazing culture and to walk on streets that art and political legends have walked on taught me more than I could have ever imagined.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

This experience shaped the way I view myself and the world. I learned so much about how people view others and about myself. The invaluable lessons that I learned will aid me in how I present myself in a new and challenging setting.
