What was the best part of your experience?

The best part of my experience was starting somewhere completely new all on my own. Although there was some help from Arcadia, and it was easy to make friends, this was an experience that was totally new and exciting -- especially for someone who goes to school in the same state that I've lived in for my entire life.

How did this experience impact you academically?

I was able to take a class while abroad which was taught by someone whom I would never otherwise encounter and who had a completely different worldview than I have, in a small and discussion-based learning environment.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

I was so fortunate to be able to have an internship with Simon & Schuster, a very influential publishing company. This has given me valuable experiences and contacts within the publishing world to help me further my career once I have graduated.
