What was the best part of your experience?

Living and working in Italy provided me with the chance to learn about another culture beyond the tourist attractions. I worked with Italians and saw what an Italian workplace was like. Additionally, I was able to travel and see the amazing cities and towns that Italy has to offer while I was abroad.

This experience...gave me a chance to put what I have learned in a classroom into real life settings

How did this experience impact you academically?

This experience impacted me academically because it gave me a chance to put what I have learned in a classroom into real life settings. I also took a class to supplement the internship which was all about the Italian culture, so it was interesting to see the differences between Italy, the United States, and France which I have learned about in my French major classes.

How will this experience impact your career goals?

This experience impacted my career goals because I hope to live and work abroad at some point after college.
