How did you learn about this opportunity?

A friend of mine used to be an intern for the American Red Cross, and I learned about this opportunity through them.

Tell us a little bit about your experience.

My duty is to raise awareness of International Humanitarian Law in the community. Hence, I have been working on a couple presentations for students not only at State College, but also at local high schools and Middle schools to spread the word.

How did this experience impact you academically?

It taught me how to successfully manage my time when I am busy with both school and internship work.

What are your career goals and plans?  How did this experience impact them?

I would like to first finish my studying as an Integrated Undergraduate Student and get a job with an international organization to help children in need across the world.

Would you recommend this experience to other Liberal Arts students?

I would definitely recommend this experience! You get to strengthen your management, public speaking, leadership, as well as teamwork skills.
