Tell us a little bit about your experience.
At this internship, I help with monitoring the social media accounts, as well as create posts for the different platforms. I also do a lot of analytics to get numbers in order to create content that is being received well and engaging the audience.
How did this experience impact you academically?
This experience pairs well with my Global and International studies degree to help me prepare for a future in my field.
Academically, this is making me more well rounded in my field. Advertising is going increasingly global and digital, so this experience pairs well with my Global and International studies degree to help me prepare for a future in my field.
What are your career goals and plans? How did this experience impact them?
For my future career, I am hoping to spend a few years working in Account or Project Management in an advertising agency before switching to the corporate/brand side of things. In this internship, I am getting experience in creating content and marketing and also learning all the important aspects of branding.
Would you recommend this experience to other Liberal Arts students?
I would recommend this experience to other students because it is a fun way to use social media in a professional way, and see how you have to adapt your strategy when you are a brand with a large audience. The team here is also great to work with.
