Faculty Spotlight
Kathryne Belle is an associate professor of philosophy and African American studies and the director of the Africana Research Center. She has published articles on race, assimilation, feminism, intersectionality, and sex and sexuality in contemporary hip-hop. She is the founding director of the Collegium of Black Women Philosophers, the former director of Cultivating Underrepresented Students in Philosophy, and a founding co-editor of the journal Critical Philosophy of Race.
