Outstanding Liberal Arts Alumni in Business Award
Tom D. Seip, ’72 Psychology, is a private investor at Seip Investments, LP. He also serves as the managing member of two private investment vehicles: Way Too Much Stuff, LLC and Ridgefield Farm, LLC. For 15 years, he served as a senior executive for Charles Schwab Investment Management and Charles Schwab & Co., where he was responsible for directing the firm’s worldwide mutual fund business. He was also the principal architect of Schwab’s revolutionary Mutual Fund Onesource Program. Tom has also held leadership positions at H&R Block, General Electric Capital Corp., American One Foundation, Forward Management, the Denali Fund, and other companies during his career.
In addition to his evident success in business, Tom is a loyal Liberal Arts alumnus, who has served on the Liberal Arts Business Minor Task Force as well as the Career Enrichment Task Force. He and his wife, Alexa, live in Easton, Maryland.
