Outstanding Young Liberal Arts Alumni Awards

Lindsey R. Alexander, Esq., ’05 Crime, Law, and Justice, earned her Juris Doctorate from the Claude W. Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University. She is a staff attorney for the Legal Clinic for the Disabled (LCD), Inc., a nonprofit organization providing free legal services to low-income individuals with disabilities in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. Lindsey also runs “Philakids,” the medical legal partnership (MLP) with St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. The MLP provides preventative law services in a preventative medicine setting aiming to address social determinants of health. Prior to LCD, Lindsey worked as the medically needy specialist attorney for the Support Center for Child Advocates, representing children in foster care with special medical needs and/or victims of sex trafficking, and running the Support Center’s MLP with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. There, she received the 2016 Legal Intelligencer ‘Lawyer on the Fast Track’ Award. Before practicing law, Lindsey was a foster care agency worker in North Philadelphia, and a Peace Corps volunteer with the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos orphanage in the Dominican Republic. For fun, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Randall Mossor, and doing yoga.

Lindsey participated as a panelist and mentor for Penn State Law’s 2018 Careers in the Law event.
