Outstanding Liberal Arts Alumni Award
Jacquelin Brova, ’75 Labor Studies, retired after a 40-year career as an executive human resources professional for the mining, steel, and consumer products industries. Before her retirement, Jackie served as executive vice president of global human resources for Church & Dwight Co. a publicly traded S&P 500 consumer products company. At Church & Dwight, Jackie led a global team responsible for leadership development, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, HRIS, employee relations, and employee communications. Reporting to the CEO and chairman, she worked closely with the Church & Dwight Board of Directors on executive compensation and governance matters.
In addition to her Penn State degree, Jackie received an MBA from Moravian College and attended the University of Virginia’s Executive Development Program at the Darden School.
A member of the Liberal Arts Campaign Planning Committee and the Labor and Employment Relations (LER) Affiliated Program Group, Jackie has long been a philanthropic supporter of the college of the Liberal Arts. She established the Jacquelin, Victor and Joyce Brova Trustee Scholarship, and she gives generously to the LER Alumni Endowed Early Career Professorship as well as to the School of Labor and Employment Relations. In 2012, Jackie received the College’s Service to Penn State Award.
Jackie currently serves as a trustee and board member for ArtsQuest, a non-profit performance and visual arts organizations located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She resides in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Matthew Farrell.
