The Weaver Building has a new pet and the United Way will receive a new gift, thanks to Laurent Cases, a graduate student in the Department of History & Religious Studies. Laurent contributed a fish to the empty tank in the Weaver Building's reception area, which sparked a friendly competition to raise money with a little humor for the United Way. Headed by Sandi Moyer, the Weaver staff held a "Name the Fish" contest.  Many faculty, staff, and students participated, and guest judge Kate Atwill chose "Dwight," submitted by Sophie de Schaepdrijver, Associate Professor of History. The United Way will receive a total of $128 from the Weaver Building group, from the contest and other staff initiatives. Thank you to all participants!
