Biography:

I came to United States as an international student from India back in 2004 to study architecture, specializing in historic preservation. I always dreamt of saving the dilapidated palaces and forts in India. You can call it quirk of fate or my calling; I ended up being an academic adviser in Liberal Arts working primarily with international students.

My background in architecture has provided me the platform to understand the world from varied perspectives via its history, culture and context. My experiences as an international student have helped me relate with the incoming international students and identify with their challenges. With my role as an academic adviser, I hope to help students make meaning of their life experiences and prepare them for life after college. I absolutely love working with each one of you and hope to help you in your journey as a student.

Prior to starting my career at Penn State, I have worked in varied architectural positions in New Delhi, Los Angeles, New York City and Rochester, NY. Outside of work, I love spending time with my son and family, reading and exploring the outdoors.
