Dean's Staff Advisory Committee
Staff and Children of Staff Scholarship Fund

The College of the Liberal Arts Staff and Children of Staff Scholarship Fund was created by the faculty and staff campaign committee during the Grand Destiny campaign which ended in 2003.

The purpose of this endowment is to enrich the College of the Liberal Arts at The Pennsylvania State University by providing monies to support staff enrichment and professional development, and to honor and recognize outstanding achievement by an undergraduate enrolled at the Pennsylvania State University who is a child of a staff member in the College of the Liberal Arts.

The endowment was supplemented by funds from the Dean to reach the minimum endowment level of $20,000. Additional monies each year are donated through the fund-raising efforts of the Senior Administrative Assistant’s Committee. Awards are made from the interest only.

One-half of the income is allocated for staff credit courses and professional development and the other half is awarded to children of full-time staff members who are undergraduates in any major at any campus at Penn State.

An outline of the application procedures for each of the awards is listed below. Contact Jennifer Morris, jxm2@psu.edu, if you have any questions.
