To get the most out of your experience as an undergraduate student in the College of the Liberal Arts, you should plan to complete various co-curricular enrichment experiences—namely internships, study abroad, and research—relevant to your field of study.

In order to assist you in planning these experiences, we have created the Undergraduate Co-Curricular Enrichment Center—a center specifically for undergraduates in the College of the Liberal Arts.  In the Center, you have the opportunity to do the following:

  1. Talk with a Liberal Arts adviser about the importance of enrichment activities and how they can fit into your schedule;
  2. Browse this web site and other sites and databases related to enrichment activities;
  3. Pick up a variety of relevant information sheets on internships, study abroad, undergraduate research—including opportunities related to your specific department;
  4. Inquire about funding opportunities to assist you in completing enrichment activities;
  5. Browse the Center’s many internship and study abroad books and notebooks, taking notes if desired;
  6. Meet with Ashley Tarbet, Undergraduate Enrichment Coordinator, about internship or undergraduate research opportunities;
  7. Meet with Sylvia Neely or Julianna Chaszar, study abroad advisers;
  8. Schedule an appointment with one of these advisers for a more comprehensive meeting.

Before visiting the Center, browse our enrichment web sites:
