FTCAP Advanced Placement
Chemistry Proficiency Tests
Freshmen who earn sufficiently high scores on the chemistry test of the First-Year Testing, Counseling and Advising Program will be permitted to take the Proficiency Test in CHEM 012. A sufficiently high score on the test will enable a student to take the CHEM 013 Advanced Placement Test.
Students are not permitted to take the advanced chemistry placement tests after their first semester at the University. Nonfreshmen must receive permission from the Department of Chemistry, 210 Whitmore Lab, before taking these tests.
