Law and Liberal Arts

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The minor in Law and Liberal Arts is intended for all students who are interested in attending law school after graduation, or who are interested in preparing for careers related to the judicial system and the law. The minor consists of eighteen credits that are designed to focus on the acquisition of skills and substantive knowledge in five areas: (1) American public law and judicial process, (2) critical thinking, (3) advanced writing, (4) public speaking, and (5) formal logic.

Students majoring in political science or international politics may not apply for this minor.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR

For the minor in Law and Liberal Arts, students must complete a minimum of 18 credits as listed below with a grade of "C" or higher.
