The Advising Preparation application gives you the information that you need to appropriately plan for your meeting with your adviser.
You will find information related to your bursar account, grade point average, transcripts, and student aid information as well as various other topics related to your academic needs. Please take the time to explore eLion so that you become aware of all the available online resources.
WHEN TO SEE YOUR ADVISER
Appointments are useful for schedule planning and course selection, major exploration, degree audit reviews, long-range educational planning, explanation and clarification of College and University regulations and procedures, review of academic progress and assistance in cases of academic difficulty, and assistance with various academic processes including Education Abroad, placement of transfer credits, leave of absence, etc.

HOW TO CONTACT YOUR ADVISER
Pre-major students are assigned to a specific adviser and all appointments should be made with the assigned adviser. If you do not know the name of your assigned adviser, you may call 865-2545 or access eLION at http://elion.oas.psu.edu
