Liberal Arts internships
information for students
Do you wonder what you’ll be doing after you graduate? If you plan to enter the work force, you should complement your academic preparation with a range of out-of-classroom experiences—education abroad, undergraduate research, community service, participation in student organizations, and internships.
You can use this site to read about other Liberal Arts students’ internship experiences, view our extensive list of posted internships, find the designated internship contact for your department, get information about funding and housing, and more.
Note that if you are interested in an internship closely related to a particular Liberal Arts discipline, you should first contact your adviser and/or that department’s internship contact. Ashley Tarbet, Undergraduate Enrichment Coordinator for Liberal Arts, is also available to help guide you through the internship application process. If you have brief questions or would like to schedule an appointment with her, you may e-mail her directly at aet143@psu.edu.
