Parking

Returning Parking Permits

Permits must be returned to the Parking Chair before the 10th day of the month in order not to be charged for that months parking. Individuals who have terminated employment, are on leave, or are not working over the summer months, must return their parking permit to the parking chair unless other provisions have been made. If the permit is not returned on the last day of employment, the individual will be held accountable for the fee of the permit.

Additional Parking Permits

You can contact the Parking Office by calling 865-1436 or stop by their office on the ground floor of the Eisenhower Parking Deck.

Motorcycle permits may be obtained from the College parking chair. There is no charge if he/she holds a current parking permit. The fee is $60.00 a year if the faculty/staff member does not hold a current parking permit. Motorcycle permits expire August 31(there is no extension on these permits). It is the responsibility of the person holding a motorcycle permit to obtain a new permit every year in August.

Any type of faculty or staff permit is also valid in the Orange (open staff) or Commuter lots. All faculty/staff permits are valid in any lot (excluding those noted reserved, handicapped, or metered lots) after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.

CATA's Ride for Five Program

As an alternative to parking on campus, the Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) offers a discounted bus pass, good on all CATA bus routes in the State College area.
