Advising Center

Liberal Arts Undergraduate Studies (LAUS)

We are a division within the College of the Liberal Arts dedicated to providing expert academic support for the College through a variety of means. We advise pre-major students, process and maintain student records, certify students for graduation, and meet with prospective students who may wish to pursue a major in the liberal arts.

Within LAUS is the office of Multicultural Equity Programs . The mission of this unit is to assist the College in providing access and equity to students traditionally underrepresented in higher education (African American, Latino/Hispanic, & Native American Indian).

How to contact your adviser

Pre-major students are assigned to a specific adviser and all appointments should be made with the assigned adviser. If you do not know the name of your assigned adviser, you may call 865-2545 or access eLion at http://elion.oas.psu.edu .

Students in majors should contact their departments for advising help.
