Eligibility Guidelines:

1) Applicant must be Penn State faculty or staff member; student international activities are NOT eligible.

2) Applicant’s home unit must have made a financial contribution toward the same initiative.

3) Applicants must have submitted activity reports for any previous initiatives funded by the Global Fund.

NOTE: Funding for faculty travel to research conferences or for research purposes that are not related to internationalization of educational opportunities will no longer be provided from the Global Fund.

Support activities and exchanges with the University's key and strategic linkages

Encourage new partnerships emerging from departments and/or individual faculty

Support teaching or research collaborations with faculty from other countries that will involve undergraduate or graduate students

Stimulate participation in international teaching or educational initiatives from Federal and State agencies

Assist faculty who want to develop course materials that have an international component

Provide seed monies to enable faculty to gain funding from other sources for international educational programs
