Tim Buckley, '74 political science is the retired executive vice president and chief operating officer of Red Hat Inc., Raleigh, NC which provides open source software. Tim is currently doing venture capital consulting, researching, and investing and is a member of the Business Minor taskforce in the College of the Liberal Arts.

Tim and his wife, Frances, fund the Timothy J. and Frances A. Buckley Trustee Scholarship in the College of Liberal Arts.
