Council Member
Douglas Rock '68 psychology is president, chief executive officer, and chairman of Smith International, Inc. He is also director of the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association and on the board of directors for the Viad Corporation. Doug was named Alumni Fellow in 1995 and Distinguished Alumni in 2001.
Together with his wife, Julie, he endowed the Rock Ethics Institute at Penn State and is also a Laurel Circle member.
