Michael Hodes '71 speech communication is also a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law. Michael is a managing director of the law firm Hodes, Ulman, Pessin, & Katz, Towson, MD. His practice includes elder law, estates and trusts, wealth preservation, executive compensation, business law, and financial consultation. He chairs the Planned Giving Taskforce for the Liberal Arts Development Council.

Michael established the Michael and Lois Hodes Scholarship in Communication Arts and Sciences and the Michael and Lois Hodes Trustee Scholarship in the College of the Liberal Arts.
