Get Involved

Whether making contributions of time, financial resources, or expertise, thousands of alumni and friends have an impact on Liberal Arts and its students every year. Consider the following ways you might get involved:

Participate in the Alumni Society
Through the efforts of its Alumni Society Board, the Society recognizes graduates of distinct achievement and sponsors a number of programs for students.

Read About Alumni
Our electronic alumni magazine, LAzine, features alumni profiles in every issue.

Serve on a Career Panel
The College of the Liberal Arts, The Liberal Arts Alumni Society, and several departments sponsor events where students can interface with alumni.

Mentor a Student
In 2004, Liberal Arts launched a one-to-one mentoring program, which has connected over 150 students with alumni mentors from a large variety of career fields.

Register with the On-line Alumni Network
Provide students varying levels of contact at the frequency you want, from e-mail consulting to job shadowing.

Make A Gift
Liberal Arts has a variety of giving options for those alumni interested in supporting the excellent programs, faculty, and students in Liberal Arts.

Provide an Internship Opportunity
Increasing out-of-the-classroom experiences is a high priority for our undergraduate programs. Be one of the alumni helping us to build the program.
